Mission Statement

Faith Statement
We believe and hold as essential to the following teachings found in the Holy Scripture:
  • There is one God, eternally existing in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy
    Spirit
  • All things were created by the direct act of God
  • Jesus Christ is...
    • Fully God and fully Man
    • Was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary
    • Lived a sinless life
    • Performed miracles
    • Died on the cross
    • Rose physically from the grave
    • Ascended to the right hand of the Father
    • Will personally return in power and glory as promised
  • All who, by faith, receive Jesus Christ as their Savior from sin and death, and make Him Lord of their lives, are given new life of the Holy Spirit, thereby becoming children of God
  • All persons are subject to the final judgment before Christ; some to everlasting life and some to everlasting punishment
  • Each child (and parent) is a unique person, created by God in His own image, and is
loved and cherished by Him.  Therefore, each is worthy of individual time, effort, and prayer

Mission Statement

The mission of KCS is to assist parents in their God-given responsibility to "train up a child in the way he should go;" resulting in a Christ-like individual who is able to help carry out the "Great Commission".  In a creative, loving environment it will train students spiritually, physically, and academically in an excellent manner.

To these ends, KCS shall...

*Offer a quality academic education based upon the Bible as God's Wod and Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord over every area of life (mind, body, finance, family), and promoting a Christian philosophy and worldview

*Employ Christian teachers who accept a strong evangelical statement of faith and live it as a model before their students

*Have a Board of Trustees with the same Christian faith, life style, and affirmation as required of the faculty

*Use curriculum that is bibically sound and academically strong.  Christian publishers are used when possible

*Accept all children who can thrive in such a school and whose parents affirm and support the Christian commitment of KCS

Vision Statement

The vision of KCS is to provide a place to equip young people with the faith, knowledge, and wisdom they need to advance the Kingdom of God by taking the ministry of Jesus to the ends of the earth through the vocations to which God calls them.

In an environment of quality academics and strong, loving discipline, students will be trained to live and share their faith and to minister love to hurting people.  They will be taught to think and act in the power of the Holy Spirit, to love, learn and apply the Word of God, and they will be trained to walk in standard of righteousness and holiness.

We realize the solemn responsibility under God to carry out this vision.  We look for parents and students who share this vision with us, for with that, our vision cannot be fulfilled.

Theological Position

KCS is an interdenominational school, and therefore, does not seek to advance any specific theological perspective.  Its biblical position reflects what the greater evangelical community shares in common.  Denominational distinctions are referred to the child's parents and church.

Everything we do centers around honoring Jesus as Lord.  This distinctive Christian atmosphere is the hallmark of our school.  From weekly chapel services, instructional program and extra-curricular activities, we endeavor to provide the godly nurture every child needs.    As an extension of the Christian home, we seek to reinforce the biblical values and ethics you want your child to learn, understand and apply to daily life.

Our mature Christian faculty desire to see each child grow toward a personal relationship with Christ or grow in that relationship.  Parents are the leaders in spiritual instruction and we partner with them by providing a place where young faith can grow and flourish.
